FAQs

Have questions about what it’s like to work together? Check out these frequently asked questions.

  • Therapy with me will focus on achieving your goals in a few ways. We will work on tactics, strategies, and build your toolkit to empower you towards your goals. We will also dig deep and look at themes, patterns, and underlying causes that keep you stuck.

For couples, we will do a comprehensive 3 session assessment. The first session you will be together and the next 2 will be individual so I can hear your unique perspective. Following the assessment, all sessions require both parties to be present for therapy.

In those first few sessions, we’ll focus on your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy.

Therapy is also a process that takes time, consistency, and patience. Just like any meaningful change, it unfolds gradually. Some sessions may feel like big breakthroughs, while others might feel more subtle, but every step is part of the growth and healing journey.

You can expect a collaborative experience with a balance of compassion, curiosity, and honest feedback designed to help you grow, heal, and create lasting change in your life.

Although we are an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies, we partner with a service called Mentaya that enables you to use your out-of-network benefits and handles the insurance billing process.

Most of my clients use Mentaya to receive 50-80% reimbursement after meeting their out-of-network deductible. I’m telling you this works.

Check if you're eligible for reimbursement of our services or reach out with questions about checking your eligibility through Mentaya.

  • I find that I work best with clients who are motivated for therapy and feel ready to create meaningful change in their lives. My approach tends to resonate most with people who are interested in exploring the root cause of patterns rather than seeking a quick fix or surface-level solutions.

You’ll likely get the most out of our work together if you’re open to exploration, feedback, and self-reflection, and if you’re committed to showing up consistently for yourself and the process.

  • Both. Most of my clients choose in-person. But if you need to do virtual, that’s totally okay.

Please note, like all Colorado therapists, I am only allowed to conduct sessions with clients who physically in Colorado (no out-of-state sessions).

  • Right now I am taking limited clients on Thursday and Friday during daytime hours.
